Horizon Farm is a unique countryside destination located between Edinburgh and Carlisle. Our farm has been carefully developed into a welcoming visitor attraction, offering a combination of fresh local produce, family-friendly activities, and a relaxing rural environment.

At Horizon Farm, we aim to create an enjoyable experience for all visitors. Whether you are travelling through the area, planning a family day out, or simply looking for high-quality local food, our farm provides something for everyone.

Our farm shop offers a wide range of fresh and delicious products. These include jams, preserves, free-range eggs, fresh bacon, and a variety of homemade goods. All of our products are either produced on the farm or sourced from trusted local suppliers to ensure excellent quality and freshness.

We are especially proud of our free-range eggs, which are laid by chickens raised on our farm in a natural environment. In addition, our pork is reared in nearby fields, giving it a rich and distinctive flavour that reflects the quality of our farming methods.

Visitors can also enjoy a selection of award-winning pies with a variety of fillings, handmade chocolates, local honey and marmalade, as well as freshly baked breads and cakes made on-site. We also stock a range of locally sourced drinks including fruit juices, wines, beers and ciders.

Cafe

Our café menu includes a range of light meals, snacks, and hot and cold drinks, many of which are prepared using ingredients from the farm shop. This allows visitors to experience the full quality of our produce in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Visit our zoo

Our petting zoo is one of the most popular attractions at Horizon Farm, offering a fun and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. Here, you can meet a variety of friendly farm animals including sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and more. All of our animals are well cared for and live in a safe and comfortable environment that reflects their natural habitat.

Play park

Our Play Park is a fun and safe outdoor area designed especially for children to enjoy during their visit to Horizon Farm. The play park includes a variety of equipment such as swings, slides, climbing frames, and open space for running and playing. It provides a perfect environment for children to stay active, have fun, and explore while parents relax nearby.

Countryside Walks

Horizon Farm offers a range of scenic countryside walks that allow visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Our walking routes take you through peaceful farmland, open fields, and areas rich in local wildlife.
